Named Innovative Teaching Specialist of The Year, and earned Master Teacher status, Dr. Beth Stutzmann, has designed and written the AP Music Theory curricula and online courses for the States of California, and Georgia. For the State of Florida, she published an online, preschool music curriculum; and for the States of Michigan and Georgia, she published online music appreciation courses at the University level.


Dr. Stutzmann was the Director of Bands for ten years, at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia where she received the Outstanding Faculty Award in 2011 and Governor’s Teaching Fellow in 2012. She is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory of Music (BMEd); earned a Master's Degree from Oklahoma City University in Horn Performance, and in 2010 was awarded her Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Education Degree from Shenandoah University, in Virginia.


She consults and helps future music students navigate the college application and audition portfolio processes.  


Her students earned entry into Eastman School of Music with $100,000.000 scholarship; and full-tuition scholarship to Oklahoma City University. Other students have been accepted to New England Conservatory of Music; Berklee College of Music; Boston Conservatory at Berklee; University of Hartford; University of Central Florida, and James Madison University. All students have earned scholarships and financial aid packages!


Dr. Stutzmann also tutors (high school, undergraduate, and gradute level) music theory; aural skills; and music appreciation, throughout the United States readying students for exams. These students succeed in their endeavors and acheive their goals!
